A MONTHLY DAY OF HISTORY AND ART

Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except December) for a tour of the Crystal Cove Historic District, book signing and a plein air painting demonstration by one of our top Park Store signature artists.

The tour will be led by Laura Davick, president and founder of Crystal Cove Alliance, the non-profit that was instrumental in saving the cottages for public use. As a former resident of the Historic District, she brings a wealth of personal experience, and you will learn about Crystal Cove’s past, its rescue and the future of this unique cultural resource.

The tour will be followed by a book signing with Laura at The Store. Laura is co-author of the best selling Crystal Cove Cottages, Islands in Time on the CaliforniaCoast.

Tree-lighting—no tour
  • IF YOU ARE DRIVING TO THE PARK, THE TOUR LEAVES THE LOS TRANCOS PARKING LOT AT 10 a.m.

  • IF YOU ARE ALREADY IN THE HISTORIC DISTRICT, THE TOUR BEGINS AT 10 a.m. AT THE BLUFF TOP REGISTRATION CHECK-IN DECK

  • THE TOUR IS A 2 HOUR WALKING TOUR AND CONCLUDES AT THE STORE

  • THERE IS NO TOUR IN DECEMBER, 2007, BUT PLEASE JOIN US FOR THE ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING AND VISIT FROM SANTA ON SAT. DEC. 1st AT 4 p.m.– (also no tours are given during rainy conditions)

  • TOURS ARE FREE, BUT THERE IS A $10 STATE PARK ALL DAY PARKING FEE

  • NO RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED—DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED

  • PLEIN AIR ART DEMONSTRATION INCLUDED
