There are many ways to volunteer, both in the Park and the Historic District. You can volunteer to work as a docent in the Visitors’ Center, be a sales associate in the Park Interpretive Store, a hike leader in the back country, or assist with administrative projects.

All volunteers within the Park are required to attend a volunteer orientation meeting for an overview of the requirements and the possible service opportunities. These meetings are scheduled periodically throughout the year.
