Major Cornerstone Giving Opportunities
Giving Priority 1 | Giving Priority 2 | Giving Priority 3

Corporate and individual "Cornerstone Members" provide a financial foundation for continuing the restoration of the Crystal Cove State Park and providing cultural and scientific programs. Our success in providing environmental, marine and cultural experiences is aided greatly by additional funding to upgrade and equip these three high priority program venues. Cornerstone giving starts at $10,000, with onsite naming recognition opportunities available.

#1 Priority: Outdoor Multipurpose Education Commons

A secluded interpretive learning area and support facility located in "The Hollow" for conducting shore based environmental educational programs for groups of up to 75 attendees. An important revenue generating facility, possible program offerings include a base for the cottage tours, "hands on" environmental classes, special events and evening interpretive programs relating the Cove's unique history.


Opportunity: $1.5 million for building restoration, electrical, plumbing, seating, decking and gardens. $40,000 funding received from Crystal Cove Conservancy.

#2 Priority: Cultural Arts Center

A unique bluff top interpretive learning venue featuring art exhibits in various media, artist's training and student art education for groups of up to 100 attendees. Additional programs may include rotating exhibits of the Cove's movie history, cultural past and visiting artists.

Opportunity: $100,000 for the interior displays, interior improvements and equipping this unique cultural center.

#3 Priority: Park and Marine Research Center

A seaside interpretive learning area for the study of the park and marine environments for groups of up to 75 attendees. Possible programs to be developed in partnership with leading marine research institutions include visiting scientists, live internet and video feeds of sea life in the kelp beds and the reef offshore from the cottages.

Opportunity: $200,000 for research and education programs.
